2. Data We Collect

We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together as follows:

• Identity Data: includes first name, last name, username or display name.
• Contact Data: includes email address.
• Financial Data: includes expense amounts, debts, and group participation (Note: we do not store bank details).
• Technical Data: includes standard Firebase platform traffic indicators.

3. Cookies

We use cookies primarily to keep you logged in via Firebase Authentication reliably. We do not use third-party tracking algorithms. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, but this may affect functionality natively.

4. User Rights and Account Termination (Right to be Forgotten)

Pursuant to applicable data protection regulations (including GDPR), the User has the right to permanently erase their account and all associated personal data from our databases. Due to the interconnected nature of group accounting, exercising this right will result in the anonymization of your historical transactions (replacement with a generic alias) to preserve the financial integrity of other parties' balances, while your contact data will be irreversibly expunged.
